PINK IVORY
What color is "PINK IVORY"?
Pink Ivory has a soft, elegant pink tone that in thinner layers takes on a slightly milky expression. A perfect base for all types of designs where you want to create a natural, pink base. The color is balanced and versatile, making it just as beautiful alone as in further designs.
What is the difference between "PINK IVORY" and "FROSTED IVORY"?
Frosted Ivory has a milkier tone with a very subtle pink undertone. The color is reminiscent of cotton candy and feels light and soft, unlike Pink Ivory which has a more pronounced pink base. A perfect choice when you want a light, fresh and more neutral result with an elegant milky feel.
Viscosity
Pink Ivory is a brand new medium viscosity Builder Gel that gives you control without feeling heavy or sticky. The gel is self-leveling , making it forgiving and easy to work with. The consistency is airy, smooth and easy to maneuver, without a sticky feel, making application faster and more precise.
How to apply Builder Gel for best results
-
Slip layer: Apply a thin layer over the entire nail without curing.
-
Apex: Scoop up a larger amount of gel and place it in the back third of the nail.
-
Hold your finger at a slight downward angle so that the gel does not run into the cuticles.
-
Work with a light hand in circular motions and move the gel towards the edges until the entire nail is covered.
-
Then switch to sweeping movements from side to side along the length of the nail for a smooth surface.
-
Turn your finger upside down for a few seconds so that the gel gathers naturally and helps you create a smooth apex .
Are you having trouble controlling the jelly?
Build in two thinner layers , or leave a small margin at the edges and fill in with a liner brush for more precise work.
Hardening
-
UV lamp (36W): 2 minutes
-
LED lamp (24-48W) : 1 minute
Heat in the lamp
The heat development is minimal , but can be felt more with thicker layers, such as with a new set, or on worn nails. If the heat bothers you, use more rounds of flash cure until it feels comfortable. Usually 2-3 rounds are enough.
Flash cure tips:
Cure one nail at a time for about 5 seconds to “freeze” the gel in place. Then you can move on to building the next nail. Once all nails are flash cured you can repeat if necessary, 2-3 rounds are usually enough. Always finish with full curing time before filing the nail.
Warning!
Although we use high quality raw materials, this is essentially an acrylate-based nail product. Acrylates can cause allergic reactions when in contact with skin or eyes. Therefore, avoid skin and eye contact. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If irritation or an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical attention.
